The eagerly anticipated Kia EV6 electric crossover has arrived at Kia's Gairidhara dealership in Kathmandu ahead of its official launch. The Kia EV6 is priced at Rs 1,25,90,000 in Nepal.
The EV6 comes equipped with a robust 77.4 kWh battery pack, which, when combined with a 168 kW electric motor, generates an impressive 225 hp and 350 Nm of torque in a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) configuration.
Built on a dedicated EV platform — the electric-global modular platform (E-GMP), the Kia EV6 stands out for its innovation. This platform not only facilitates a generous interior space but also contributes to a remarkable driving range of up to 528 km (WLTP). Despite its compact exterior dimensions, the EV6 boasts a spacious cabin, thanks to its 2,900mm wheelbase, comparable to that of many mid-size SUVs.
At the front, the EV6 features Kia's distinctive "Digital Tiger Face" grille, which incorporates sleek LED headlights that seamlessly integrate into the overall design. The sculpted hood and aerodynamically optimized surfaces contribute to the car's efficiency and performance. The high beltline and pronounced wheel arches give the EV6 an athletic stance, while the sloping roofline adds a touch of elegance.
Moving to the rear, the vehicle's design is characterized by a full-width LED light bar that connects the slim taillights, creating a visually striking and futuristic look. The rear design, with its integrated spoiler and diffuser, not only enhances the vehicle's aerodynamics but also adds a sporty flair.
In terms of convenience features, the Kia EV6 doesn't disappoint. Moreover, the EV6 prioritizes safety with an array of assistive technologies that collectively enhance the overall driving experience and ensure the safety of both the driver and passengers.
